The Boys & Girls Clubs of America have recently announced that Lowe’s Home Improvement has donated $1 million for improvement and renovation projects at 19 of its Clubs across the country. The grants vary per Club and will assist in the funding of many needed repairs and upgrades including safety enhancements, new flooring, kitchen expansions and new porches.
Lowe’s support helps many local Clubs make vital improvements to ensure they are safe and an inviting place for youth who need them the most. Since 2009, Lowe’s has donated $6 million in grants and thousands of volunteer hours to fund improvements at over 120 Clubs.

The 12th Annual Holiday Trunk Show was held December 1st, 2nd and 3rd at the Seagate Hotel & Spa, it was held to benefit the Naoma Donnelley Haggin Boys & Girls Club. Over 20 specialty vendors had a variety of gift items for sale to assist the Boys and Girls Club in providing a safe and nurturing environment for children. For their efforts, the trunk show raised $85,000 and will be appreciated by the over 400 children that attend the Naoma Donnelley Boys & Girls Club.
During the recent Special Olympics Florida’s South Florida Unified Flag Football Invitational, the Orange Bowl committee really made their presence known by participating in the event and making a donation. These events are dedicated to the promotion of social bonding through team sports regardless of disability.
