Chris Havlicek Supports the Everglades Foundation Contribution to Cape Sable Project

By | October 22, 2014

The Everglades Foundation has contributed $143,000 to the first phase of plugging four canals at Cape Sable in an attempt to stop the threat of rising sea levels. Damaging vegetation, debris and salt water are flooding into the cape causing severe damage. So instead of waiting for government aid and work to continue, the Everglades Foundation has donated funds to get the project going. Chris Havlicek is on the board of directors for the Everglades Foundation, and is proud of the work they do in his home state.
